Juicy details

The one thing about blogging that can be disappointing is the great life details that get left out.
If you can share everything, good for you.  But I can't bring up enough courage to share the juicy details about the stuff everyone really wants to know about.  Mainly relationships, simply for the reason I don't want to hurt anyone.

However, I am thisclose to starting a new chapter in my life.  I'm moving.  I'm graduating. And I'm pumped.

With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to share some of the moments that got left out.

I never blogged about the time in Dec/Jan that I got sent flowers from two wonderful gentlemen within weeks of each other.

Think of my life for that brief period as a wayyyyy less interesting version of "This Means War.

(As far as I know, neither one of them know about this blog.  I would be very surprised if they did.)

Lucky girl, huh?
I reckon so.

8 mile.

Not quite the same as 8 Mile Road in Detroit, Michigan.

Shamless confession?  I actually like Eminem  -- the clean versions of his stuff atleast.

I'm talking about running 8 miles with Maggs and Dana.
Since becoming burnt out on running after my last marathon and then tearing my ACL, I have not run more than six miles since the 2011 Peachtree Road Race.

Considering it a small victory.
Half marathon, here we come :)

A rant.

As if social media didn't make boys confusing enough, good ol' Mark Zuckerburg had to invent "the poke."

According to this article, the "sole purpose [of a poke] is to attract the attention of another user."

Now what?  Do you poke back?  Do you ignore it?

Good idea, Mark...not.

Invent something that has no relevance or bearing on normal life.
Oh, wait.  That's all of facebook.

Rant over.
